How To Make Easter Chocolate Truffles
1. There are two main ingredients for making these truffles, heavy cream and chocolate chips. The first thing you want to do with them is to make ganache, which is made by combining melted chocolate chips and heavy cream. There is a trick for doing that, which is very simple. Just gently heat up heavy cream until it simmers, and then pour it over chocolate chips. That’s it, hot heavy cream will melt the chips in a few minutes. Then, mix them together to make ganache.
2. Cool the mixture outside for a bit, and then put it in the refrigerator to become a bit harder. Take the ganache out of the fridge, and quickly roll out chocolate eggs. You want to do it quickly, so that ganache does not melt too much.
3. Roll the chocolate eggs in spring sprinkles. Then, put the eggs on parchment paper and put them in the fridge until you are serving chocolate Easter desserts.
