The best thing about white chocolate hot chocolate bombs is how fun they are to watch, when you pour hot milk on them! Once you put them in a hot chocolate mug and start pouring hot milk on the out of a cup with a spout, hot milk starts melting the outside of the chocolate bomb. The heat opens up the hot cocoa bomb, and releases cocoa powder, marshmallows and fun sprinkles. Once that happens, everything starts melting into the hot chocolate. Now, just mix everything together, and you are ready to drink your delicious hot cocoa.

How To Make White Chocolate Hot Cocoa Bombs
Here is the simple, step by step recipe. Make sure to scroll down to the recipe card, for all the tips, techniques and frequently asked questions!
Melt white chocolate melts in the microwave safe bowl.
Spread melted white chocolate inside the hot chocolate bomb mold. You can spread them with your finger, a tea spoon or a pastry brush. I prefer to use a tea spoon, but you can use whatever works for you. Put the hot chocolate bomb mold in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Take the molds out of the freezer. Spread another thin layer of melted white chocolate inside the mold. We do this, as the shells are very brittle, and adding another layer of chocolate makes them thicker and less likely to break. Put the mold in the freezer for another 15 minutes.
Take hot chocolate bomb mold out of the freezer. Gently pop out the chocolate spheres, making sure that they don’t bread.
Warm up a microwave safe plate in the microwave. Put each half sphere on the plate for about a second or so, so that the edges warm up. Fill up half of the half spheres with cocoa powder, mini marshmallows and some heart sprinkles. Put an empty half sphere over a full one, and bring the warmed up edges together, so that they stick together.
Warm up a few white chocolate melts, put some on each white chocolate bomb, and sprinkle with heart sprinkles. Melted chocolate will help sprinkles adhere.
Warm up milk. Pour warm milk into a glass with a spout. Put your white chocolate hot cocoa bomb in a mug. Pour milk into the mug in a steady stream, to make hot chocolate. Serve with Instant Pot Egg Bites.
