If you are like lots of others people, and looking for something fun and gross (but not too gross) to serve during Halloween, for a Halloween birthday party or dinner party, we have a fabulous idea for you! These fun vomiting pumpkins are just perfect for being in the center of the table! And they take just a few minutes to make!
The best thing about these pumkin centerpieces is that they are edible, so people can look at them, and eat them as an appetizer! And even if you have some leftovers, they are just bell peppers, and can be used as a snack later, or use them in Peppers and Onions Recipe.
Don’t you hate it when you work hard on creating a center piece, only to throw it away after the party? I hate it when anything goes to waste. Not so with these fun barfing pumpkins! Use them for your Halloween party, and then use them as appetizers or cook them for dinner.
The best part about the vomiting pumkins is that all you need to make them is just one ingredient, the orange bell peppers! The vomit is just the membranes and seeds from inside of the bell peppers, how cool is that?
If you would rather not have throw up on your table, even if it is pretend, we can’t blame you. All you need to do is just throw out the insides of the bell peppers, and make cute Carved “Pumpkins” Orange Bell Peppers, click here for the simple how-to to do that.
However, if you would like to make slightly disgusting Pumkin Centerpieces for your Halloween tables, read this blog post. We will show you how to make these amazing, fun and low carb bell peppers “pumpkins”:
Here is how to make these Throwing Up Pumpkins. First, cut off the top of the orange bell peppers, and take out all the seeds and membranes. Very important, do not discard the seeds and membranes.
Next, turn the bell pepper around, and carve it like a pumkin. Make the eyes, nose and mouth.
Next, put the pepper on a platter or a cutting board, and arrange the membranes and seeds around it, as vomit. Repeat with as many bell peppers, as you need. That’s it!
