Are you looking for a steak taco recipe? I have posted about steak tacos before, in this recipe for Steak Taco With Avocado and Tomatoes. Here is a different twist on steak tacos, this one with caramelized leeks and goat cheese.
It is pretty easy to make steak tacos and create your own twists on them. Flank steak is great in tacos. But it can sometimes be chewy. In order to make your flank steak taco very tasty and not tough or chewy, you must cut your flank steak thinly and you must cut it against the grain. If you cut it with the grain, the flank steak will be impossible to chew. So make sure to cut it against the grain.
To make your flank steak taco, you will need to first make Caramelized leeks. They simple to make, and they will add additional flavor to your steak tacos.
Then you will need to cook your flank steak. Once your steak is cooked, let it rest, and warm up your tortillas. Once the steak is ready to cut, cut it thinly against the grain and assemble your tortillas. Top each tortilla with steak, caramelized leeks and goat cheese.
And here is another recipe with leeks: Potato Leek Soup Recipe.
