2 White Pears
2 Red Pears
1/4 of a small Red Onion
3 oz of Blue Cheese
1 Lemon
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
How To Make Pear Salad with Blue Cheese
Wash the lemon. Cut the lemon into halves, juice the lemon, and measure about a tablespoon of the juice to use in the salad.
Peel and wash the red onion. Thinly slice the onion on a cutting board.
Wash the pears. Cut the pears into halves, and then into halves again lengthwise. Remove the seeds and the core from the pear quaters, and then slice them thinly.
Add the sliced pears and onions to a salad platter or bowl, sprinkle with one tablespoon of lemon juice, and gently mix.
Crumble the blue cheese, add to the pears and onions. Add the olive oil, and gently mix again.
