How To Make Meatball Sauce Recipes
Peel and chop the onion.
In a sauce pan heat up the olive oil. Add onion and saute for 6-8 minutes, stirring constantly. Add Greek oregano.
Add crushed tomatoes and water and bring the sauce to boil. Turn down the heat, so that the sauce is just lightly simmering. Simmer the sauce for 1-2 hours, so that the sauce reduces and the color turns dark red.
Season the sauce with salt and pepper if needed. Serve with Greek Meatballs.
