To make the wings extra crispy, use both Instant Pot, and the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid.

What should you do if you do not have an Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid? If you don’t have it, you can use an air fryer to make the wings.

How To Make Extra Crispy Instant Pot + Air Fryer Chicken Wings
It is very simple to make these amazingly crispy wings! Here is how:
1. If you have fresh wings, or you already defrosted your frozen wings, cut the wings into two parts. If you are working with frozen wings, separate them as much as you can. You probably won’t be able to cut them into halves yet. That is ok, as you will be able to cut them once they cook in the Instant Pot. Put the chicken wings into the steamer basket.
2. Add water to the Instant Pot. Put the trivet inside, and then put the steamer basket on top of it.
3. Place the lid on the Instant Pot, use the manual setting, and cook the wings. Please note that you need to cook frozen wings for longer than fresh wings. Please see the recipe on the bottom of this post for all the times.
4. Once the wings are cooked in the Instant Pot, and cooled, you can proceed with air frying. But first, if you used frozen wings, make sure to cut the wings into two parts now. Make sure that wings are dry. Coat them with cooking oil and sprinkle with Rotisserie Chicken Rub.
5. Cook using the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid, until they are extra crispy.
That’s it, you can now enjoy your crispy air fried chicken wings!
