Chicken piccata is one of the easier chicken recipes, but it is very tasty and flavorful.

Chicken piccata usually includes sour element (lemon juice), salty element (capers) and creamy element (butter). Here I am skipping capers, but using both white wine and lemon juice.

Ingredients For Chicken Piccata Recipe

4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
Flour
Salt
Black Pepper
Olive Oil For Frying

1/3 cup of White Wine
1 Tablespoon of Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons Of Butter
1/3 Tablespoon of Parsley

How To Make Chicken Piccata

Chop parsley.

Pound the chicken breasts to make them thin and uniform. Salt and pepper each side of the chicken breasts.

Pre-heat olive oil in a saute pan. Dredge chicken breasts in flour. Saute chicken in olive oil until chicken is cooked through.

Remove chicken from the frying pan. Deglaze the pan with wine and stir the wine to get the brown bits into the sauce. Add the lemon juice and cook for a few minutes. Add butter and cook until the butter is melted.

Add the chicken back into the sauce and turn to coat. Cook for a few more minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.

Serve with pasta and a salad, such as Grape Tomato Salad Recipe With Dill And Onions.
