Here is the simple recipe, that completely transforms cauliflower. If you know how cauliflower tastes from eating it raw or steamed, or sauteed, you will not believe how differently it tastes when you try it roasted.
Roasted vegetables is one of the recipes I always recommend to everyone who is starting out to do meal planning, because of how easy it is to roast vegetables.
If you are just starting out with meal planning and cooking, one of the first thing to do is to start roasting vegetables. Roasted veggies is a rustic, very easy to make side dish, that will go with pretty much anything.
All you need to do is to wash and chop vegetables, add some oil, salt and pepper (sometimes a few more spices), put on a cookie sheet and roast. That’s it!
And bonus, while your vegetables are roasting, you can make the rest of the dinner!
Even if you don’t like cauliflower, I recommend trying this recipe. Roasted cauliflower tastes very differently from boiled, steamed or even sauteed cauliflower – the concentrated cauliflower flavor really makes this dish irresistible.
You can use your roasted cauliflower to make cauliflower soup, or you can just serve it as a side dish. Both are great.
