When you plan a meal, who you usually include a vegetable when you plan it? A green vegetable, such as asparagus, green beans, or broccoli? There are tons of benefits for adding more green vegetables to your dinner. First, of course, green vegetables have vitamins that are good for you. And in addition to that, when you eat a green vegetable, you will eat less of the more calorific dinner entree, thus consuming fewer calories at dinner.
All this sounds good, right? But what happens sometimes is that someone plans to make a green vegetable for dinner. So they do make the vegetable, and then they don’t eat it. So the vegetable sits in the fridge for a couple of weeks, it gets old and then it gets thrown out. So while someone planned on cooking a vegetable, and actually cooked the vegetable, the vegetable remained completely uneaten.
Why is that? Usually, it is because the person doesn’t like the taste of it. When someone makes a vegetable that they know they don’t like eating, they don’t eat it. As a result, they wasted the money they spent on the vegetable, and they didn’t get the nutrition and vitamins because they didn’t eat the vegetable.
So, what do you do in this case? What do you do, so that you not only cook the vegetable, but that you actually eat it? You use the vegetable to make a dish you like, so that you actually eat it! For example, if you don’t like steamed broccoli, then how about making broccoli stir fry with pepper flakes? This recipe requires just two more ingredients, a bit of oil and pepper flakes, and as a result, you can make a delicious vegetable side dish.
It is very simple to make Broccoli Stir Fry With Pepper Flakes. All you will need is some steamed broccoli, a bit of oil and pepper flakes. If you are like your broccoli stir fry spicy, then you can use more pepper flakes. If you want just a touch of heat, use a few pepper flakes. Since I don’t eat spicy food, I am only using a few pepper flakes in this recipe.
Once you make steamed broccoli, drain it, cool it off and dry it. Then, heat up oil in a skillet, add pepper flakes and broccoli and stir fry for a few minutes and serve. That’s it! This recipe is very simple, but very tasty. This is a great side for dinner, if you are looking for a simple vegetable side dish.
